Compassionate + Collaborative Care with Paula Chadwick
Welcome to Deep Waters Psychotherapy & Consulting Services, the private practice of Paula Chadwick (she/her) - licensed clinical social worker. I offer virtual individual sessions to adults residing in Vermont and New Jersey.
With over 20 years in the field, I am a social worker and psychotherapist with an extensive background in mental health, women’s health & safety, perinatal support, and work with the queer community. I am neurodivergent, feminist, queer, sex-positive, body positive, and kink-friendly.
I help my clients by offering support and compassion to increase self-worth. I provide education on how the brain works to better understand our emotions and triggers. We’ll talk about how to use coping skills for better functioning. Together we delve deep to make connections to work toward healing wounds and trauma.
Let's Work
Together!
-
I am available for virtual individual sessions with adults currently residing in Vermont and New Jersey. The telehealth platform used is Simple Practice.
When possible, I try to see clients on consistent days and times - weekly or bi-weekly. I can also provide flexibility for those who need.
-
Yes! I am in network with BlueCross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, UMR, and MVP.
Some plans cover mental health virtual visits at 100% (no cost for you!). Or you may need to pay a copay or a deductible payment.
It’s also possible you have out of network benefits - I can help you figure that out!
-
If you do not have out of network benefits or are uninsured, we can work out a plan that feels right for you in terms of how often you’d be seen (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) and if it will be a 60 minute session ($140) or a 30 minute session ($75).
-
I can accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express), debit cards, as well as Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards through my HIPAA compliant card service IVY Pay.

“Healing equals freedom; freedom from past pain and family and society expectations of who you SHOULD be.”
“May you develop a high tolerance for being treated well, for receiving care and kindness, for experiencing joy, & for being and doing enough.”
